Local Activities Opening Soon or Recently

As the COVID Vaccination becomes more accessible and the weather gets better more activities are available to families in the Delaware area. Things are opening up and for many it’s exciting! We’ve got a few places that are opening up or have recently opened back up.

Select New Castle County libraries will have a limited reopening with Covid-19 protocols in place as of Monday, April 12. Some in-person services will be available two and half days a week per branch. The schedule for each branch is posted HERE. You may need to call ahead for appointments.

All New Castle County libraries will continue to offer free wireless broadband Internet service in their parking lots. There will also be a new service soon for a checkout of Chromebooks and Hotspots to library patrons.

Kent county libraries have been open since March 1st. Sussex County libraries are open by appointment only.
