The weather (hopefully) clears up this month which means it’s a perfect time to head to Delaware’s beautiful State Parks. But with the change in the month, it means State Parks aren’t free for the season anymore.

Luckily this year (2021) prices haven’t changed. If you live in-state you’ll pay $4 for most parks. Of course, there are exceptions including the $5 fee at Ocean Parks of Cape Henlopen, Fenwick Island, and Delaware Seashore. Annual passes are $35 for most parks (in-state). You can get your annual pass online or in many of the park offices.

Due to Covid, nature centers and interpretive centers remain closed, and in-person programs aren’t being offered right now. Delaware State Parks does have a Virtual Programming page for self-guided hikes, online video programs featuring naturalists and interpreters.
